Jam in Jakarta

Jams in the city of Jakarta can be said to have 'chronic'. Circumstances can we see every day, especially on weekdays. The increasing number of vehicles are not comparable with the existing road width. Without realizing it, congestion has brought many losses such as loss of time until the matter. No few are those who experience stress from too long on the road due to exposure to bad debts. Also, without realizing it, jam making people become tired and can result in a decrease in work productivity. Perhaps the money with the trillion dollars wasted exhausted.

Make a wide street is not an easy way to Jakarta. Because, most of the land community have a high selling price. This is a challenge for the Government of Jakarta. The only way that is currently considered the most effective is to create mass transportation. State modeled on brazil, Jakarta implement Bus Rapid Transportation (Busway) otherwise known as the transportation TransJakarta bus lanes and bus stops that have a special. The bus is capable of carrying people in large quantities with a relatively short time because it is free from congestion. Sutiyoso-time served as governor of Jakarta - is a pioneer of this Way Bus. Not only TransJakarta (Bus Way), Sutiyoso also has pioneered Mass Rapid Transportation (Monorail) and river transport (waterway). Application of mono rail is not running as expected because of the lack of budgetary support as well as the implementation of river transport (waterway) that are less walk due to lack of interest of the community using these transport. This is caused by circumstances that are still dirty rivers and other technical reasons.
