Beijing Capital International Airport, ((IATA: PEK / BJS, ICAO: ZBAA) is the main international airport in Beijing, China. The airport is located 32 km (20 miles) northeast of downtown Beijing or in the Chaoyang District. International Airport's capital beijing quickly rose to the second busiest airport in the world after the Atlanta International Airport in terms of passenger traffic. It has been recorded as many as 488 495 aircraft movements (take-offs and landings). Based on cargo traffic, the airport is ranked to -14 with the goods amounted to 1,420,997 tons.

Beijing Capital International Airport is the main center of Air China, People's Republic of China flag carrier, which flies to around 120 destinations (excluding cargo) from Beijing. Based on the assessment of one of the magazines, airports are designated as World's Best Airport in 2009. Order to accommodate growth in traffic volume, airport management has added a third terminal in 2008.

Beijing Capital International Airport was officially opened on March 2, 1958. At the time of this airport still has a small terminal building, which still stands today.
There are three terminals at Beijing Capital International Airport is connected by road. Each terminal has a traditional Chinese style with lots of lighting and attractive decor. Every place has a sign reading in Chinese and English. This is to facilitate the tourists or people from outside China.
