Mobile regional airport (IATA code : MOB and ICAO code : KMOB) located in the city Mobile, a city in the state of Alabama. As an independent regional airports, all airport operational costs financed itself because the airport does not receive local tax. In 1929, Bates Field in brookley officially dedicated as the airport while in 1937, the first commercial flight service begins. In 1938, Bates moved to a location field which is now in west Mobile.
