Kuala Lumpur's international airport is located in Sepang, Selangor state, Malaysia. IATA airport code is KUL. Kuala Lumpur International Airport opened in 1998 at a cost of 3.5 billion dollars. An architect Kisho Kurokawa from Japan named appointed by the Malaysian government to make the concept of airport design in the middle of the forest and the airport is able to accommodate 130 million passengers each year. The airport is an airport first to use the Total Management System (TAMS)

Fire Rescue
Airport fire rescue service (or the Airport Fire and Rescue Services, also abbreviated AFRS) is provided for handling aviation accidents in KLIA Sepang. There are two fire stations at airports, namely:
Fire Station 1, with an area of 170,000 square feet with a total floor area hinga 11,400 square feet (1060 m²) with two levels of structural steel. Fire Station 2, with an area of 60,500 square feet with a total floor area to 12,900 square feet (1,200 m²) with two levels of structural steel.
Both stasun firefighter is equipped with fire fighting equipment and emergency safety. There are 7 car steam supply, 8-( Ziegler 8x8 vehicles) worth RM 3.8 million per vehicle, 1 Command and Control, 1 Ladder, 1 vehicle P3K, 2 carriage of water, 1 vehicle monitors, and a carriage keselamtan for both stations firefighters.
KLIA International Airport is the world's second airport is equipped with a chimney diffusion of explosives after the Munich International Airport. Diffusion of explosive materials can be produced high levels of the two chimneys is a cost of RM 1.6 million per chimney.
